When you hear Mark Small Machine, Inc., do not think size nor our ability or the scope of what we can do. Just know Small is simply our last name and engine building is our game. The machine shop has been operating in Westminster, MD for over 40 years. In the beginning years, the machine shop was part of Westminster Auto Parts owned by Bill Small. During those years, Mark Small grew up with the business. As early as the 6^th grade Mark was stocking shelves in the family business. For 28 years, Mark has been immersed in learning, operating, and managing the machine shop. Just as gasoline runs through a car, engine building runs through the Small’s blood.

In 2004, the machine shop changed names and ownership to become Mark Small Machine, Inc. We currently have 3 employees, John, Mark, and Colleen. John has been with the machine shop since 1992, he does all the head work. Mark does the block work. Colleen is the machine shop’s bookkeeper. Other services offered include:

- engine block machining including blueprinting procedures

- cylinder head work including high performance

- crankshaft grinding and balancing

- flywheel grinding
